National Seminar on Child Protection
Seminar was organized within the framework of DEPCIP Project
The event was organized by Kutahya Dumlupinar University and Kutahya Directorate of Family and Social Services.
The target group of this event was national participants (consisting of teachers, trainers, counsellors, dicrectors of city municipalities, trainers of public education center and parents) who want to get some knowledge about child protection against child abuse and neglect. About the event, announcements were made one month before the organiztion and official letters were sent to public and private institutions. The event lasted a whole day and each intellectual output, analysis results, tips for effective communication and process were presented in detail. At the end of the meeting, e-mail addresses and phone numbers were collected. Upon their request on a second event on the issue, Kutahya Dumlupinar University and Kutahya Directorate of Family and Social Services are working for a bigger event with more participants.
